I was so sorry I was unable to attend your dad's funeral - he was a big part of my childhood and was also instrumental in Laird surviving and becoming the community it is. He was a great example of faith and his true love of God shone through to everyone he met. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Don was an amazing man. He was so full of love and energy! He’s the only person I’ve ever met who LOVED life…but also wanted to die and go to heaven SO BADLY!!
He loved God; his wife; his family; his town; the young & old in his community…it seemed like he cared about everyone!! He will be missed!!! I’m happy for him to be with Jesus and his beloved wife, Mary, for Christmas.
Wow there is so much to say about Don! Where would I start..Don was always encouraging and loved Laird..He could have a conversation with any age group.

I am attaching one of my favourite photos of Uncle Don. in summer of 2019, we spend time at the Tiefengrund cemetery. I got this picture of him standing between the headstones of his grandparents, Peter and Anna Regier. He was so proud of his grandfather. This picture shows him supported by more than just the pillars of his grandparents graves, but the pillars of the legacy they left for him.
I miss you Uncle Don.
