Obituary of Mary Dobransky

It is with great sadness the family of Mary Dobransky announces her peaceful passing on February 9, 2023, in Rosthern, SK. Mary was fondly known as "Baba" to many.  She was born to Harry and Lena Dobransky on August 20, 1927, in Meacham, SK.

Mary is survived by her only son Terry (Shannon); granddaughters Amber (Barett), Shelley (Travis); sisters Pearl Seniuk of Rosthern and Olga Alstein of Edmonton; and sister-in-law Eva Dobranski of Saskatoon.

Mary was predeceased by her lifetime partner Peter Cisecki; daughter-in-law Connie Dobransky; parents Harry and Lena Dobransky; brothers Nick and Bill; sister Ann (Bill) Hrycuik; and brother-in-law Dick Seniuk.

Mary was a hard-working woman her entire life.   Her passion and joy were from all things involved with farm life.  Her face would light up telling stories of milking, collecting eggs, working with horses, and stooking hay.  Although she moved to Rosthern in 1998, she continued to spend many hours in her garden on the farm.

Mary's strong faith and her generous nature made so many feel loved and welcomed in her home.  She will be deeply missed by all.
