Obituary of David Baht

May 10, 1952 - March 10, 2023

70 Years

David is survived by his loving wife; Merlane, his brothers; Robert (Faye) Baht, Garnet (Francine) Baht, Murray (Louise) Baht, Mike (Myrna) Baht; sisters; Joanne (Darwin) Romich, Jeannette (Garry) Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was predeceased by his parents Emil and Anne Baht.

 

David held a variety of jobs: farming in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and custom combining throughout the United States. The love of travelling was awakened in him. For the next 47 years, he drove trucks throughout North America, from the east coast to the west coast, from Alaska to Mexico with a few stories to tell.

 

David clearly loved his family and tried to see them as often as possible.

 

He will be remembered through the stories he shared, the practical jokes he pulled on people, his temper, and his patience in teaching younger members of the family to drive.

 

A Graveside Service will be held at Imperial Cemetery on June 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Ray Purdy officiating.

 

Memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
