January 2, 1945 - November 13, 2023
78 Years
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Helen Buller was born on January 2, 1945, on the family farm east of Hague, close to the Hague Ferry. Mom was the 4th child of 12 children born to John and Katherina (Harder) Hamm.
Mom received Christ Jesus as her personal Lord and Saviour and was baptized upon confession of her faith at the Hague Conference Church.
On October 17, 1965, Mom and Dad were married at the Warman Mennonite Conference Church after a short six-month courtship. Mom joined Dad on the family farm where they shipped cream for 10 years before going into the dairy. Mom was pivotal in the daily labour and chores of the farm and what that required. Mom was a hard worker. She loved her garden and flowers and enjoyed feeding us all very well, homemade everything.
In 1992, they sold the dairy, cows, and quota. They remained on the farm until 2005 when they moved to Rosthern. Mom loved her “new to her” home in Rosthern as well as the community. Mom took care of Dad, and they spent some great years together in Rosthern and enjoyed the freedom to visit more with family, friends, and her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Mom is predeceased by her son Clayton; husband John; daughter-in-law Sheila; and parents John & Katherina (Harder) Hamm; brother Henry; sister Tena; brother-in-law Jake Enns; sister-in-law Marge Hamm; and members of the Buller family.
Mom is survived by her children Dennis, Mark, Carol, Colette (Les); grandchildren Dalton (Nicole), Brett, Kayla, Autumn, Austin, Tyler (Sarah), Paige (Jesse), Tia (Brian), Katherine (Mackenzie), Dustin, Darian; great-grandchild Nevaeh Fidek; brother & sisters, Abe (Susan), Ann, Betty (John), Pete (Marianne), John (Hilda), Jake (Colleen), Sarah (George), Aron, Ed (Linda); brothers-in-law Jake Buller and Abe Ens; as well as many nieces and nephews.
