I am so sorry to hear about Mr Epp’s passing. As a teen ager I almost felt you were my second family. Helping babysit the children and spending time in school in Mr Epps classes as well as being neighbours brings good memories. I am unable to attend his funeral but please know that I am there in spirit. With deepest sympathy and prayer for your family. Bev (Fast) Letkeman

Gerry was a mentor who will not be forgotten. There are so many memories and conversations. Many of them were shared around the kitchen table in their home. The conversations were sometimes light and at others times deep leaving their mark long into the future. I appreciated his wisdom and honesty. I so appreciated knowing I was always welcome to knock on the door and receive a listening ear. Words can not capture what I desire to express. So thankful for had a privilege of working with and sharing life together with Gerry. With love and sympathy

Mr.Epp taught me in highschool. We both had good arguments and agreed to disagree. It was because of that I enjoyed him and his crazy sense of humor! He taught me more than the required subjects.
My condolences to his family

Our sympathies to you Ruth, and family. I will always remember the day Gerry and I were out on the field when he was helping with harvest when he said to me" Roy don't ever do that again" . Evidently I had done something as a 12 yearold ,or so, that he thought was dangerous.

A few days before I heard Mr. Epp died I remember writing down for my own students the importance of a good outline, and thinking about how Mr. Epp drilled that into us throughout high school and how it helped me through my post-secondary education and beyond. It made me realize the true teacher he was, understanding what we needed and making sure we learned it.

Gerry served the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches well for many years, including nine years as our president. He is fondly remembered and well-respected among our pastors and churches. I am so grateful for the sacrifices he made to support local churches and see the Gospel of Jesus Christ advanced in our communities. Gerry was kind, encouraging and helpful during the times I was able to meet him. I pray that God will grant you peace as you experience loss, but also joy in the great hope of life in Christ!
