November 30, 1956 - March 30, 2024
67 Years
James, better known as Jim, Paul Holeksa was born November 30, 1956, and raised by his parents Agnes and Louie in Moose Jaw, SK, where he lived until he met his beautiful wife, Beth. Together with their son Dorian, they travelled to Haiti for 3.5 years where they lived doing missions, building homes and raising their son. After returning from Haiti they moved to Tennessee where Alicia was born and they soon moved back to Saskatchewan to settle here in Saskatoon.
Jim was proud of his work as a finishing carpenter, and he continued to work hard even after he was diagnosed with ALS in 1991. Jim lived a full life and enjoyed a sense of humour that people came to appreciate. He loved his family and watching his grandchildren grow. Jim passed away surrounded by family on March 30, 2024.
