90 Years
Harry Kenneth Wiebe of Rosthern, Saskatchewan died on May 23, 2024, at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 90. He entered the presence of his dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Harry lived most of his life on his farm 11 miles northwest of Duck Lake in the farming community of Horse Lake. He married his sweetheart, Louise Jantzen, in 1961 and together they raised a family and farmed until recent years when he and Louise moved to Rosthern.
Harry gave his life to Christ as a young man and loved to study the word of God. Jesus remained his inspiration and source of hope for the remainder of his life. He didn’t blame God for hardships but thanked Him for both the hardships and the blessings.
He was a soft-spoken man who did not seek the spotlight.
He enjoyed farm life and the challenges that came with it. He was a hard worker, patient and determined, which served him well over the years.
He was thoughtful and witty. This permeated into the life of his family.
Harry is survived by his wife, Louise Wiebe of Rosthern; sons Tim (Joleen) Wiebe and Barry (Angela) Wiebe; daughters Barbara Wiebe and Krista Wiebe; grandchildren Stephanie Wiebe, Ryan (Heather) Wiebe, Kevin (Aislin) Wiebe and Rebecca Coull; great grand-children Oliver, Lincoln, Ellie, Dominic, Blythe, and River. He is also survived by both his sisters, Helen Staley and Isabel Wilkinson.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jake and Agatha Wiebe, brother Clifford Wiebe, and granddaughter-in-law Leah Wiebe.
