Obituary of William McCann

 

February 11, 1941 - May 27, 2024

83 Years

 

Bill passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

 

Left to mourn is his wife, Linda, of almost 60 years; daughter Carrie Marie; son Kevin Allan John; and brother Gordon (Annette) McCann.

 

Carrie’s children were very close to their “Granfar”, Bill was very proud of his Irish heritage….

Bill’s father was in the mining industry so Bill lived all over Canada, but his special place was McLennan Lake, north of La Ronge….he loved having his grandkids around, especially at the lake.  Everyone would be ready for a boat ride, a fishing trip, or just lunch out on a favorite nook on the lake.

 

Bill’s wishes were for cremation, and family will get together at McLennan Lake later in the summer.
