Obituary of Janet Fehr

73 Years

Janet of Saskatoon, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 73 years, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer with loved ones by her side. Janet was born on May 16, 1951, to her parents John H. and Helen Fehr.  She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this past March. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Janet was a kind and caring person. Janet enjoyed spending time with family, going out for meals, attending the day program at Luther Care, and visiting her special friends at Lawson Heights Mall.

She was predeceased by her sister Judy; parents John H. and Helen Fehr; brother-in-law, Robert Schreiner; and her best friend Patrice.

She leaves to mourn: her siblings Carol (John) Giesbrecht, Debbie (Ron) Schreiner, Sharon (Bill) Kane, and Wayne (Valora) Fehr, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank the following: Dr. Kok and Shane, Dr. Ogomo, Recreation workers at Luther Care, Luciene Poole, nurses at the Hospice at Glengarda for their amazing care and compassion, Chaplain Richard Engel, and last but not least – Emina, Gorin, and workers at Silvergrove Personal Care Home for giving her the best place to live for the past seven years.
