Obituary of Joyce Kreiter

March 1, 1931 -  August 30, 2024

93 years

The family of Joyce Kreiter is saddened to announce her passing on August 30, 2024, at 93 years old. Mom was born the third oldest of 12 children to Robert and Lydia Trippel on March 1, 1931, at Arma, SK.

On May 31, 1952, she married Alex Kreiter. Mom and Dad had 2 children, Deb and Rick.  They farmed alongside each other for 34 years, retiring in Rosthern.  They finally had time to travel and enjoy a lot of fishing. 

Mom had the opportunity to go on 2 memorable motorhome trips with Deb and family. Mom enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards, visiting, bowling, and fishing.

Left to fondly remember her are daughter Deb Fehr, son Rick Kreiter; grandson Clay Fehr and fiancée Theresa Wiebe; great grandchildren Alex Fehr and Avery Fehr.

She was predeceased by her husband Alex Kreiter, granddaughter-in-law Shauna Fehr, and grandson Curtis Fehr.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. 

 

A Private Family Graveside Service

will be held at a later date.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
