Thank you, Uncle Garry, for leading the graveside service in memory of Uncle Dale and covering many of the remembrances of his life. I always think of him as being the collector (and user) of men's toys, like his boats, and trailers and who knows what else he kept inside his garage and shed. Indeed he used a scooter for a number of years to get about town and had a way to load it on the back of his truck when he went to Saskatoon for shopping or appointments. Most recently he was quite proud of the smaller scooter and the contraption that made it possible to load it into the van (also a new toy!).
I don't know what Jesus has on the menu for the Great Banquet when He calls His bride to come "home," but it would sure please Uncle Dale if fried chicken was included. But he also liked fish, so I can imagine him fishing with Jesus in his boat, making sure the nets are full!
