Obituary of Oliver Heppner

February 11, 1929 – August 12, 2018 The death of Oliver Heppner, age 89 years, occurred on August 12, 2018 at Rosthern Hospital with family by his side. He is survived by his wife Ruth Heppner; his children, Loretta (Gordon) Giesbrecht, Valerie (Doug) Pankratz, Michael (Donna) Heppner; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sister Elsie Heppner; brother Alvin Heppner; sister-in-law Irene Heppner, and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his first wife Hulda Heppner; sister Gertrude Heppner; brothers Cornelius and Herbie Heppner; and sisters-in-law Gwen and Lavina Heppner. The public viewing will take place at Funk’s Funeral Chapel at 7:30 P.M. on Friday, August 17, 2018. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Zoar Mennonite Church, Waldheim, SK. Interment will take place at the Waldheim Cemetery.
