Sorry to hear about Mary. My deepest condolences to Debbie Mark and all the family and friends. Like my sister Lea Ann, I remember the farm visits. I also remember Aunt Mary being bubbly and wearing colourful dresses. I remember she had a strong faith and she worked hard at whatever it was she was working at.

I just heard of Aunt Mary’s passing and my condolences to Debbie and Mark and family. I remember as a child going to the farm and hanging in the barn watching the cows being milked and all the other amazing happenings a city girl doesn’t get to see. I remember Aunt Mary and her bubbly personality and her love and kindness. Heaven gained a beautiful soul and I will see her one day again.

Mary was a very dedicated volunteer for the Clothes basket. My memory of her was, she was volunteer on Saturday's when I was still working there. And after coffee break she would always make sure to count the money from the till. She loved keeping track of how much money the clothes basket made on that day. Of course that was back when volunteers still basically ran the store. She was always cheerful and a pleasure to work with. My condolences to all the family.

I knew Ervin and Mary Friesen well for many years. They were my parents and my neighbour. After my mother passed away Ervin and Mary looked after my home during the time I lived in Vancouver. When I was on vacation and returned to Rosthern, Mary would invite me over for dinner. I always had an enjoyable time. As time went by they moved to a new facility and in their final years Ervin to the Mennonite Nursing home and Mary to Pine View. I spoke with them both on a number of occasions at the nursing home. Until we meet again in our eternal home with our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
