Obituary of William Bergen

January 5, 1928 – February 2, 2018 William Edward Bergen passed away peacefully on February 2, 2018, at the Mennonite Nursing Home in Rosthern. He was the son of the late Maria and Wilhelm Bergen and was also predeceased by his sister, Anna; and Elma, his wife of almost 65 years. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Helen, Mary, John and Lydia; his children: Valerie (Cal) Strom, Sandi Bergen, Bill (Marcia) Bergen, Lorna (Steve) Duncan; his grandchildren: Tim (Carolyn) Strom, Daygen Strom, Sarah (Dan) Chajka, Mitch (Jesse) Strom, Jonathan Bergen, Hannah (Peter) Kazman, Tori Duncan, Kieran Duncan; and his great-grandchildren: Annika and Linnea Strom, Alyssa and Olivia Chajka, and Scarlett Strom. A private service and burial took place at Rosthern Cemetery on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, with Amos Fehr officiating.
