Obituary of Ralph Burnham
May 3, 1947 – February 8, 2013 After a short battle with cancer and diabetes Ralph passed away February 8, 2013 with family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Ken (Fern) Burnham; and sister-in-law Isabel. He leaves to mourn his wife, Donna; daughter Pamela (Reginald) and family, Gabriel, Paige, Camilla, Shaylee, Stephanie; son, Greg (Mary) and their son, Nico; brothers, Lloyd Burnham; Keith (Fran) Burnham; sister-in-law, Fay (John) Klepak and brother-in-law, Jack (Elaine) Wallace, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ralph was born May 3, 1947 in Rosthern and grew up there. He played many sports in school. After leaving Rosthern Ralph had several careers, mostly in banking. Ralph and Donna were married in 1970 and to this union were born their daughter, Pamela and son, Greg. They lived in many places in Saskatchewan and in 2000 they moved back to Rosthern to take care of family members. Ralph enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading. He always looked forward to family and friends coming for a visit. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the Doctors and all the staff at the Rosthern Hospital, as well as the Saskatoon Cancer Center. The care Ralph received was excellent. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 10:30am – 12:30pm at the Lions Hall, 6th Street, Rosthern. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
