Obituary of John Klassen

May 17, 1920 – December 30, 2013 The death of John J. Klassen, age 93 years occurred at the Mennonite Nursing Home, Rosthern, SK with family by his side on December 30, 2013. He is survived by his: wife Marie Klassen; son Clifford (Jean) Klassen; daughter Linda (Wayne) Buller; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister Lena (John) Hiebert; brothers Peter (Lena) Klassen, Jack (Elsie) Klassen, David Klassen; daughter-in-law Arlene Klassen; son-in-law Murray Falconer; sisters-in-law Erna Klassen, Peggy Klassen; Marie’s children, Clifford (Dale) Rempel, Norm (Dana) Rempel, Janet (Garth) Driedger, Tammy Rempel. He was predeceased by his: first wife, Helen Klassen, parents John and Helena Klassen; daughter Lois Falconer, son Harold Klassen, brothers Henry Klassen, Tony Klassen and sister-in-law Rita Klassen. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Zoar Mennonite Church, Waldheim with Pastor Ben Pauls officiating. Interment will take place at Waldheim Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The Family would like to extend a big thank you for the wonderful care given to John by the staff of the Rosthern Mennonite Nursing Home.
