Obituary of Geneva Windels

January 27, 1940 – October 20, 2014 The death of Geneva (Harder) Windels, age 74 years of Laird, SK occurred on October 20, 2014. She is survived by her three daughters, Dawn Newton (Brian Mottram); Sandra Ahenakew; Lori (Cory) Jackson; 5 grandchildren, Jestan Newton (Lori Jack), Amanda Newton, Darin Ahenakew (Tori Stretch), Conner Jackson, Caitlyn Jackson; great granddaughter Jayda Newton; siblings, Beatrice Heipel, Dorothy Doerksen, Fern Janzen; brother-in-law Henry Beherns, sisters-in-law Helen Harder and Darlene Harder. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Windels; parents, William and Mabel Harder; siblings and in-laws, Harvey (Betty) Harder, Laverna (Jake) Klassen, Lenard Harder, Clarence (Denise) Harder, Bill Heipel, Dennis Harder, Darlene Beherns, Patrick Doerksen, Elmer Janzen, Jeanette Harder, and infant sister Eileen. The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Laird Mennonite Church with Lutheran Church Pastor Jason Johnson officiating.
