Obituary of Linda Caron

In loving memory of LINDA CARON December 23, 1951 – August 12, 2019 Age – 67 years It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on August 12, 2019 at St. Paul’s Hospital with her daughters at her side. Linda was born on December 23, 1951 in Duck Lake, SK to Marjorie & Roy St. Germain. On September 27, 1969 she married her love of her life Rene Caron in Batoche, SK. After almost 16 years Linda & Rene finally became parents to three wonderful daughters, Jocelyn (1985) Christine (1987) and Chantel (1989). Linda loved her garden (strawberries) and flowers especially her Lillie’s! She worked at GWG for 7 years, McMasters photographers for 17 years and Wakaw hospital/Lakeview pioneer lodge for 16 years until retirement in 2016. Linda is survived by her daughters Jocelyn (Tennyson Dennis); Christine (Terry Wilson); Chantel (Tyson Moosewaypayo). Her grandsons the joys of her life: Austin Caron, Eli Moosewaypayo, and Jonah Dennis. Her brother- Larry (Janice) St. Germain; brother & sister in laws – John Neufeld; Therese Fidler, Leo (Betty) Caron, Hector Caron, Peter (Kathy) Caron. Her Best friend- Jerre (Stuart) Stone, Tanya & Gilbert. As well as many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Rene, parents Roy & Marjorie, sisters Doreen Neufeld & Betty-Ann St. Germain, brother Garry St. Germain. As well as many in laws. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 2:00pm at Holy Spirit Parish, 114 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon. Following the Mass, cremation will take place with interment at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at St.Paul’s that helped during her stay, and to Dr. Kurt Roelens for the care and compassion he showed to mom and our family.
