Obituary of Yvonne O’Brien

October 20, 1933 – August 16, 2020 Yvonne passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on August 16, 2020 reaching the age of 86 years. Yvonne is survived by her family: husband, William (Bill) O’Brien; sons, Brian Peeteetuce; Marvin O’Brien; sisters, Ann Peeteetuce, Edna Thiels; grandchildren, Diane Gardipy, Connie Peeteetuce, Rick Peeteetuce, Devon Peeteetuce, Larissa Peeteetuce; great grandchildren, Chelsea Gamble, Jayden Gamble, Cleveland Littlechild, Jaren Peeteetuce, Jacelyn Gamble, Jailyn Gamble, Nea Littlechild, Ava Littlechild, Kamiya Peeteetuce, Linden Peeteetuce, Karson Thomas, Georgia Bird, Kyler Morin; great great-grandchildren, Calaya Ogima, Keenai Peeteetuce; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her: mother, Alice Peeteetuce (Brittain); father, Joseph Peeteetuce; sisters, Philomene Sutherland, Florence Buffalo, Rosa Peeteetuce, Helen Mandes, Mary Simoneau, Vicky Rudolph; brothers, Henry Peeteetuce, Gilbert Peeteetuce, Johnny Peeteetuce, Robert Peeteetuce. The wake services will be starting Thursday, Aug. 20 at 6pm and held August 20-22, 2020. The Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. All Services will be held at Willow Cree Memorial Sports Centre, Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation, SK. Interment will take place at Beardy’s Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
