Obituary of Wilbert Klassen

January 9, 1939 – September 15, 2012 The death of Wilbert Willy Klassen, age 73 years of North Vancouver, B.C. and formerly of Rosthern occurred at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon. He is survived by his: three daughters: Theresa, Tammy, and Treya; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Lillian Larson, Art Klassen, Ruth (Ray) Keehn, Evelyn Friesen, Eleanor Bergen, Esther (Victor) Shupe, Clarence (Trudy) Klassen, and Rose (Ken) Warlow. He was predeceased by his: wife, Patricia; parents, William I. and Alvina Klassen; sister, Florence Kometscher; and brothers-in-law, Marcel Kometscher, Howard Larson, Abe Friesen, and John Bergen. There will not be a service in Saskatchewan. Family will bury Wilbert’s ashes next to his wife, Patricia in B.C. at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern.
