What heartbreaking news to hear of your sudden loss. It was only a few months ago that I chatted with Leona at my Mom’s funeral, remembering the past when we were neighbours and I used to babysit for her. She told me how many grandchildren and great grandchildren they now had and wondered how I would like to look after that crew! She was so proud of you all. My love and deepest sympathy, Rita Paulo
It came as a shock to us when we saw on Facebook that our cousin Leona was no longer with us but was rejoicing in heaven with many who have predeceased her. Living in B.C. we didn’t see each other often, but we were privileged to have dinner in their home this summer and also see her up at Dore Lake. She will be greatly missed and our condolences and prayers go out to the whole family.
Oh my. I am in shock ! Oh my heart goes out to all you kids and Al. Rod & I have such fond memories of Dore Lake. Leona was always so warm and welcoming! I will so miss her! Was she sick?
