Dear Sharon and family, We are saddened to hear of Otto’s passing. We remember him as a kind, soft spoken man who was always willing to lend a hand. He was such a good friend to dad and Lillian. Both you and he helped them so much in their last years; we are grateful. He will surely be missed by his community, his church, his friends and most of all by his family. Sincerely, Blair and Brenda (Weinberger) Rausch

Our condolences and prayers for you Sharon, and the extended family… We remember Otto as a kind, generous person, willing to help out….Back in the day when I lived back on our farm close to Arma we could call on Otto to come pull out a tractor that got stuck in the mud while trying to seed. We loved and appreciated Otto and know that he will be greatly missed… Len & Hilda Tieszen

Sharon, I was saddened to read of Otto’s passing. When I think of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rosthern I think of Otto. He was either taking the offering, ushering people or ringing the bell. All of these activities were done in a quiet, humble manner. He truly was a gentleman. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

Auntie Sharon, I’m so very sorry to hear about the loss of Otto. He was the kindest most soft-spoken man I have ever known. Some of my favorite memories as a child were coming to visit you on the farm and to see you both smiling as we drove into the yard. You will both be forever in our thoughts and prayers.

It’s hard to believe Otto is gone. It was always a pleasure speaking with him and sharing a joke I would tell him. If you needed a favor Otto didn’t mind helping out. On one occasion mom asked Ottto and Sharon to pick me up and were there when the bus arrived. Otto will be missed and when church service resumes he won’t be there. He is now in glory with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and family that are also there.
