Obituary of Agatha Kardash

May 5, 1924 – March 28, 2013 Agatha Kardash (Konkin) peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, March 28 at 88 years of age. Agatha was born in the Blaine Lake district to Alex and Annie Konkin, and had 2 sisters, Mabel and Pearl. She married Bill Kardash in 1948 and they lived their lives farming together in the Blaine Lake area. Agatha was a woman of wisdom, inner strength and joy, and she lived her life selflessly. She had a deep love, faithfulness, and dedication to God, to her family, and to the many others that were placed in her life. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband (of 64 years) Bill, and by her son Ernie. She leaves behind her daughter Sharon Johnson, 7 grandchildren and their spouses, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, and many friends, who will all miss her deeply. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel in Blaine Lake. Graveside Service and interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon. Donations in memory of Agatha can be made to MCC or Gideons.
