Obituary of André Lanovaz

December 31, 1925 – February 19, 2017 It is with great sadness to announce that André Joseph Gerard Lanovaz, age 91 years of Duck Lake, SK. has passed away and is at peace in God’s kingdom. Left to cherish his memory: two sons, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren: son, Albert (Angèle) Lanovaz and family, Michelle (Eric) Duchene – Jada, Halle; Tammy Lanovaz – Tayler, Brayden, Logan; Kurt (Heather) Lanovaz – Jasmine, Sadie, Nathan; son, Gerry (Wanda) Lanovaz and family, Shannon (Derek) McDonald – Elle, Casey; Allan (Lesleigh) Lanovaz – Avery, Drayden and sister, Lucie Pogu. He was predeceased by his wife, Thérèse Lanovaz (nee Pelletier); parents, Ferdinand and Ernestine Lanovaz; siblings, Ernest (Marie) Lanovaz, Marie (Carl) Farwell, Yvonne (Dwayne) Dahl, infant sister, infant brother and brother-in-law, August Pogu. A come and go viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, Duck Lake, SK. Interment of ashes will take place in Blessed Sacrament R.C. Cemetery, Duck Lake, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to George C. Gauthier Foundation, Box 370, Duck Lake, SK. S0K 1J0.
