Obituary of Robert Peeteetuce

October 26, 1931 – January 30, 2013 The death of Robert Samuel Peeteetuce of the Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation occurred at Rosthern Hospital Wednesday, January 30, 2013. He was 81 years of age. He is survived by his wife Diane; his children Arthur and Christine, Leonard, Darleen and Brent, Harvey and Maureen, Earl and Verona, Jocelyn and Farley, Carol and Leon, Marie and Andrew; step-children Marilyn (Bobby) Thomas, Joe (Darlene) Thomas, Tina (Gerald) Almightyvoice, Marjorie Almightyvoice, Mona Almightyvoice, Charlotte Almightyvoice and Nellie (Brian) Fisher; adopted children Marie Baldhead and Chance Gamble; sisters Ann Peeteetuce, Edna Thiels and Yvonne (Bill) O’Brien; brothers-in-law Floyd Rudolph and Ralph Royal; adopted brother Ray Sanderson; adopted sister Irene Paul; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife Patsy Peeteetuce; sons Henry, Floyd, Delmer and Mervin; parents Alice and Joseph Peeteetuce; in-laws Andrew and Lillian Littlecrow; sisters Florence, Helen, Philomene, Vicky, Mary and Rose; brothers John, Henry and Gilbert; daughter-in-law Shirley Anne Peeteetuce; grandchildren Kyle, Delvin and Cherish; and adopted son Marvin Sutherland. Wake Services were held January 31 to February 2, 2013. The Traditional Service was held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. All Services were held at the Cst. Robin Cameron Education Complex, Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation. Interment took place at Beardy’s Cemetery. Arrangements were in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
