Obituary of Janice Friesen

Janice Friesen (Neufeldt / Dueck) May 26, 1940 – July 10, 2018 Janice Friesen, age 78 years of Spiritwood, SK and formerly of Tiefengrund district, passed away on July 10, 2018 with family by her side. She is survived by her husband Burt Friesen; her children, Eric (Corinne) Neufeldt; Barbara (Jeff) Warkentin; Tim (Deanne) Neufeldt; Linda (Ted) Knight; 2 step families (Burt Friesen and Al Dueck); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother-in-law Brent Pendleton; sisters, Carol (Don) Mackay; Kathy (John) Davidson; Debbie (Mike) Hurd; sister-in-law Cec Cromartie; brothers, Dom (Lillian) Cromartie; John (Marie) Cromartie; Wayne (Eva) Cromartie; Philip Cromartie; Steven Cromartie; numerous nieces, aunts, uncles and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack & Lily Cromartie; first husband, Rupert Neufeldt; second husband, Albert Dueck; sister Faye Pendleton; brothers, Lester, James, Carl Cromartie; sister-in-law Vivian Cromartie; and numerous other relatives. Funeral Service will be held at Tiefengrund Rosenort Mennonite Church on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Russ Friesen officiating. Interment will take place at Tiefengrund Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Station Arts Centre, Box 1078, Rosthern, SK S0K 3R0.
