My thoughts and prayers to Jim’s family and friends. It is still a shock to hear of Jim’s passing. I will miss our conversations and jokes. Jim enjoyed cooking for his family and was proud when he told you what meal he had prepared. Those meals will be surely missed. His love of family came across when he spoke of his daughters and grandkids. Jim was a 1st responder and firefighter and it was in his heart to help others. ‘’’Big Jim” as we called him was a teddy bear deep down. Jim was the only man I met that liked marmalade. Jim was excited to tell you about his cruise to Alaska and show you the pictures he took. I’m glad he went on that cruise and took time to relax. As we talked about retirement I believe it was Jim’s drive and want to help others that he never fully retired. The good lord had other plans for you Jim. You are now fully retired in the most beautiful place, reunited with your family who has gone before you. It will be sad and at the same time odd not to see you walk in as you have done for the last 6 years but I know you now have your well deserved rest. I am Thankful, Grateful and Blessed to have met you. As always “See you later Archie”.

So sorry for your loss, girls. He was such a big part of everyone’s life in Hague. I’ve know Jim since we both worked for my Dad when I was 18 and always enjoyed his company but what impressed me most was when Eric’s Dad was struggling with Alzheimer’s and was running away all the time. Your Dad was always looking out for him and letting us know where he was. He was such a guardian angel for Dad those years. I know that God put him in that place for us at that time. Praying for God’s comfort for you and your families
