Obituary of Henry Goertzen

June 11, 1943 – September 21, 2020 The passing of Henry Goertzen, Laird, SK, age 77 years, occurred on September 21, 2020. Henry is survived by his loving wife Helen; children and grandchildren; daughter, Barbara (David) Block & Tatiana, Jesse, & Matthew; son, Wesley (Carrie) Goertzen & Morgan, Hailey, Rayna, Tamara, & Tiana; son, Paul (Kimberly) Goertzen & Sarah, Katlyn, & Charity; 9 brothers and 1 sister. Henry is predeceased by his parents; 1 brother; and 1 sister. A public come and go viewing will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 from 7:30-8:30 P.M. at Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern. A Private Service by invitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Reinfeld Bergthaler Mennonite Church. Those attending the Private Service we ask that you bring your own mask. Interment to follow in Reinfeld Cemetery. A special thank you from the family to the staff of the Rosthern Hospital and the Mennonite Nursing Home for the excellent care of Henry. Also, thank you to all the friends and relatives for your prayers, kindness, and many gifts of food.
