Obituary of Marie Pelletier

November 20, 1932 – March 6, 2013 Marie passed peacefully at Goodwill Manor in Duck Lake on March 6, 2013. Marie was born to Albert and Marie Perret on November 20, 1932 and was raised in the La Plaine district. Marie married Raymond Pelletier on June 2, 1954. Marie and Raymond farmed and raised their family near Duck Lake. Marie enjoyed gardening, baking, playing “Duck Lake Rummy” with her grandchildren, and creating beautiful afghans for her family. Her greatest passion was having her family and extended family around her. Marie has left her husband Raymond, their three children, Muriel (Grant MacTavish), Paul (Pam), Leo (Denise), nine grand children, eight great-grandchildren, who mourn and loved her deeply. Marie also leaves to mourn members of her extended family, Lucille (Gil) Gaudet, Laurent (Frieda) Perret, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Mass for Marie Pelletier will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church in Duck Lake on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment of her ashes will take place at a later date in Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Cemetery, Duck Lake, SK.
