Obituary of Anita Teichrob
November 18, 1944 – February 7, 2016 The death of Anita Teichrob (nee Smith), age 71 years, occurred on February 7, 2016 at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon. Anita suffered for more than 30 years with Lupus, Schleroderma, Raynaud’s Syndrome and the many side effects that developed including Cirrhosis of the Liver, failing kidneys, many bowel obstructions and many painful trips to the emergency room. More than anyone should have had to endure. She never left the house unless she was dressed up and had her hair done. It was because of her appearance that most people couldn’t see how sick and damaged her body was. For the most part she suffered silently in pain. In the end Anita passed away from Pneumonia and Respiratory failure. She is survived by her daughters: Charlene Teichrob, Rosthern, SK; Raylene (John) Neurauter, Medicine Hat, AB; their children Michael and Melissa; Gaylene (David) Pilon, Saskatoon, SK, their children Taylor (Kevin) and Spencer (Mary); her brothers and sisters Ovila (Ruth) Smith, Mary Gagnon, Marie-Ange Markowski, Phylis LeComte, Ray (Joylene) Smith, Franklin (Marlene) Smith, Darrel Smith, Diane Stangby, Ben (Debbie) Smith, Jeff (Carol) Smith, Monica Ethier (Terry Pugh), Gayle (Jean) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anita was predeceased by her loving husband Frank Teichrob; parents Theophile and Lillian Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law Evelyn (Marius) Piche, Lou Gagnon, Julian LeComte, Sally Smith, and Allen Stangby. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Phinh Do on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Duck Lake, SK.
