Obituary of Mary Koop

February 16, 1916 – December 1, 2012 The passing of Mary Koop, age 96 years, occurred on December 1, 2012 at Rosthern Hospital. She is survived by her loving family: three children, Rudy (Margie) Koop; Louise (Allan) Epp, Hilda (Lorne) Epp; 16 grandchildren, Peter (Michelle) Koop, James Koop, Randy Koop, Mona (Jim) Brennan, Murray (Susan) Epp, Nadine (Nick) Epp-Evans, Rob Epp, Chris Epp, Ryan (Lorna) Epp, Andrew (Rochelle) Epp; 10 great grandchildren: Dane, Rowan, Lukas Koop; Menoa, Ushwya Brennan; Callum Epp-Evans; Ryder Epp; Alexandra, Sophia, Nicholas Epp. Also surviving are her sister Anne Neufeld, and brother Henry (Alice) Zacharias. She was predeceased by her husband John I. Koop; grandson Mark David Epp; her parents Gerhard and Elizabeth Zacharias and several siblings. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Manor Fellowship Centre, 110 LaRonge Road, Saskatoon, SK conducted by Pastor Harry Harder. Memorial donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 600-45th West, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W9. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern, SK.
