Obituary of Nettie Fehr

April 23, 1943 – January 27, 2014 It is with mixed emotions that we announce the passing of Nettie Fehr of Warman, formerly of Rosthern, Saskatchewan. Nettie was the youngest of 22 siblings and half-siblings born to John J and Helena (Braun) Fehr on April 23, 1943 in the Rosenbach area, southeast of Hague, Saskatchewan. Nettie married Jacob H Fehr from the Arma area, north of Hague, Saskatchewan on April 24, 1976, this union was broken when Jacob passed away on November 7, 1977 after only one year, six months and twelve days. Nettie had no children of her own and lived in widow-hood until the day of her passing on January 27, 2014. She reached the age of seventy years, nine months and four days. Nettie was predeceased by her husband Jacob, parents John J and Helena (Braun) Fehr, Five siblings, twelve half-siblings, parents-in-law Peter and Susanna (Hamm) Fehr, brother-in-law Frank Fehr, and several other in-laws. Nettie is survived by half-siblings, George (Agatha) Fehr, Justina Friesen, siblings, Aron (Tina) Fehr, Sara (Jake) Fehr, sister-in-laws, Helena Fehr, Mary Fehr, Eva Fehr, Margaret Fehr. On her husband’s side she is survived by, Helen Fehr, Tina Wiens, Susan (Lawrence) Fehr, Marie (Stan) Fehr, Hilda (Len) Tieszen, also many relatives and friends, too numerous to mention. The viewing service will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., and the memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., both in the Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 206 2nd St. West, Warman, Saskatchewan.
