Obituary of Ben Unger

The death of Benjamin Bernhard Unger, age 88 years of Rosthern, occurred at Royal University Hospital on August 15, 2021. Ben is survived by his: wife, Frieda Unger; and Frieda’s family, 2 sisters and their spouses and 1 brother. He was predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Justina (Friesen) Unger; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Eigenheim Mennonite Church, 10 km west of Rosthern with Pauline Steinmann officiating. For those planning to attend the service, we ask that you please wear a mask. A viewing will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.
