Such a wonderful woman. A tribute to mothers everywhere. Grandma, I know you're in a better place, with Bill.
You brought such warmth and love into our lives. Your beautiful smile could always light up a room.
I remember the train, at the fort. The bus ride out to Field, to stay in the lakeside cabin. Those times when I'd be over to visit, and I'd try to wake up super early on the weekend because you had cable and I wanted to see cartoons. I remember the times you were there for me. For us. With us. When you took me in, that year. I'll always remember you, and always be grateful for the wonderful things you did. The stories you'd tell, though admittedly I couldn't focus, but I did enjoy them. I still have the video of you telling me one, when you visited. I'll always cherish you, gramma. Now enjoy your well deserved rest.
